What is Passivhaus?
Passivhaus, which translates directly as Passive House, covers more than one concept across sustainable building. It can be used to describe any building that achieves near zero emissions without compromising on comfort or style.
Passivhaus (or Passive House) also describes the process of planning and constructing these energy efficient and eco-friendly buildings, and Passive House Standards refers to the set of standards that need to be followed to achieve the near zero rating.
