Greenville Lane, Enniscorthy
Located on the north-western edge of Enniscorthy, this 52-unit residential development reflects Mosart’s commitment to sustainable neighbourhood design, community wellbeing and energy efficiency. Formed around a central landscaped spine, the layout encourages a strong sense of identity and connection, while shared surfaces support safe interaction between pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles.
Each dwelling is designed to meet nZEB compliance and Passive House performance, incorporating a high-performance building envelope, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and photovoltaic panels. These measures ensure a BER A1 rating, exceptional thermal comfort and high indoor air quality.
Thirty percent of the homes follow Universal Design principles, providing lifetime adaptability and accessibility. A variety of unit types, from apartments to dormer bungalows, supports intergenerational living. Native planting, biodiversity corridors and well-considered open spaces contribute to a healthy, inclusive environment.
The Greenville Lane project demonstrates how zero-emission and community-centred housing can deliver architectural quality and long-term sustainability in line with Ireland’s climate and housing goals.
