Whitehaven is one of Ireland’s major Passive House schemes, delivering 255 social and cost-rental homes in Santry. Mosart served as the Passive House Designers, ensuring each apartment meets the rigorous Passivhaus standard for comfort, energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
To understand how the homes perform in real life, Mosart installed 1,100 sensors across the development to monitor energy use, indoor comfort and air quality as part of a comprehensive Post Occupancy Evaluation. The findings will help shape future large-scale sustainable housing in Ireland.
