The model never fails. The building does.
A design can meet every PHPP target and still miss on site. An airtight layer punctured by a second-fix trade, insulation bridged at a junction, a supply duct left uninsulated in a cold roof. None of it shows in the model, all of it shows in the test. Certification needs 0.6 air changes per hour at 50 pascals, measured in the finished building, and that number is set by the people holding the tape.

The lessons keep cutting back to the work itself: a membrane going up, a primer being pressed, a duct being insulated, a blower door running. Whole lessons are shot on site, including a straw-panel build, steel-frame airtightness detailing and precast thermal breaks. That is the part a slide deck has never been able to teach.
Every certified Passivhaus has to hit it in the finished building. No amount of design effort gets you there if the details are not built. This course is about the gap between those two things, and closing it.
Carpenters, bricklayers, plasterers, plumbers, electricians, MVHR installers. Learn where your work meets the airtight layer and the insulation line, and stop being the trade that punctures someone else’s.
You have to enforce quality you were never trained in. This gives you the specifics: what to inspect, when to inspect it, and which shortcut costs you the test.
Put the crew through it and stop paying for remedial airtightness work. Passivhaus is increasingly specified on public housing, so the credential is starting to appear in tender requirements.
You can model a psi value and still not know how it gets built. This is the delivery half of what you already do, and it makes design reviews a lot shorter.
