Greenhill

Greenhill, southeast of Enniscorthy, is a historic 1798 battlefield. Its layout centres on 'Green Hill', once a Crown Forces cannon site, now a central green space. The development includes nearly 450 homes, a nursing home, childcare facilities, a landscaped spine road, restored shale walls, mature hedgerows and well-distributed public spaces.

Overview

Greenhill, southeast of Enniscorthy, is a historic 1798 battlefield. Its layout centres on ‘Green Hill’, once a Crown Forces cannon site, now a central green space. The development includes nearly 450 homes, a nursing home, childcare facilities, a landscaped spine road, restored shale walls, mature hedgerows and well-distributed public spaces.

A crescent of three-storey blocks frames a generous open space, with varied building heights marking junctions and views. Facades feature a mix of materials. Open spaces each have distinct characters, often including orchards of fruit and nut trees, soft-fruit bushes, and mock-ringforts with Willow groves for children’s play.

Certification is independent: the model is verified and the airtightness is measured before handover. What that is worth to a scheme
