Seven Mills is a long-term project for Cairn Homes and the Land Development Agency, part of the Clonburris planning zone. Its first Passive House phase, Cooper Square, brings 607 cost-rental apartments to the standard, with more to follow as the town grows.
Certification is the independent check that the homes perform as they were designed to. As certifier we verify the energy model and confirm the airtightness on the finished buildings before handover, home by home rather than by sample. At this scale that discipline is the difference between a town that performs and a town that was only meant to.
