The Kilbride development is located in the heart of Kilbride village near Dublin Airport and has been carefully designed to strengthen the existing village structure. While Kilbride already includes a primary school, GAA club, pub and service station, its urban form has remained fragmented. This new housing scheme aims to create a stronger sense of place through a clearly defined village edge and improved street presence.
A generous crescent forms the main entrance to the development, establishing an inviting gateway and setting the architectural tone for future expansion. The spine road extends westwards from this crescent, framed by landscaped green strips, cycleways and pedestrian paths that support safe movement and visual continuity. The result is a layout that balances density, landscape and connection while allowing for potential growth in line with future zoning.
Mosart’s design approach focuses on proportion, hierarchy and the integration of contemporary and traditional elements. Larger five-bedroom homes anchor the crescent’s ends, featuring a distinctive mix of arched entrances and modern flat-roofed extensions. Brick detailing, fastigiate trees and a strong landscape framework reinforce character and cohesion across the site.
This development represents Mosart’s vision of sustainable rural growth, combining architectural quality with community-focused planning to enhance Kilbride’s identity and provide adaptable, energy-efficient homes.
